A Theme and Variations for Brass Quintet. Grade VIII and above.
Description
Various phrases and lines in the Theme are then assembled and played about with to form 5 Variations. These are The Pedagogue, Jangles, Tightrope and Trapeze, Catnap, and The Pointy End. Only one variation is longer (3 seconds) than 2 minutes, but that one’s the most fun anyway! Whole thing therefore just over 10 minutes.
